Load tests are carried out by typically placing one or two hydraulic jacks on a concrete nut on the head of the pile to be tested, with the centre of pressure on the axis of the pile, after interposing a steel plate.
The contrast system consists of one or two steel beams, overlapping and orthogonal to each other, anchored appropriately to the two or four neighbouring piles.
Each pole is then connected, using Dywidag bars and appropriate steel plates, to the retaining steel beam.
As an alternative, the anchoring of the piles to the main beam can be carried out directly with steel strands cables previously installed in the pile connected to the first section of the reinforcement cage.
The load test is carried out by bringing the hydraulic jacks against the lower beam of the system.
