The FDP pile is constructed using a drilling tool connected at the top through rods to a rotating head sliding along the guide tower, which penetrates the ground through rotary insertion.
The tool is closed at the lower end, causing significant lateral compression that increases the original natural density of the soil.
Rotation speed and penetration can be varied according to the soil characteristics. The waterground in general does not affect drilling operations in any way.
When the planned depth is reached, the pile is cast: concrete is fed through the rods and comes out under pressure at the base of the drilling tool.
Gradually, in conjunction with shaft formation, the battery of rods is pulled out of the ground.
Concrete pressure exerts a continuous upward thrust on the tool, cooperating with extraction while ensuring absolute continuity of the pile shaft.
Pouring proceeds to completion of the pile, gradually drawing off the battery of rods and the tool as concrete flows steadily.
The reinforcement is pushed into the fresh concrete.
